MISSED ADJUDICATOR ASSIGNMENTS
If an assigned Adjudicator does not attend two (2) of their adjudication assignments (reassigned adjudications do not count) they will be removed from the adjudicator pool for the current year.
If the offending Adjudicator is a Primary Adjudicator, their affiliated Theatre Company must provide a substitute Primary Adjudicator from their trained pool of Backup Adjudicators within 15 days of the adjudicator's expulsion to remain compliant with NHTA policy. If the Theatre Company cannot provide another Primary Adjudicator (either via the advancement of their own back-up adjudicator or the conversion of an unaffiliated adjudicator), the company will forfeit one of their upcoming shows from the season. If all of the company's shows are already completed for the current year, then the company is only eligible to enter one (1) show in each production category in the following season instead of two.
The following year the offending Adjudicator may not return as a Primary Adjudicator for any theatre company, but may be a Backup Adjudicator.
LATE BALLOTS
Adjudicators who do not submit a ballot within 30 days of their adjudicated productions closing date, will have the following imposed
- On 31st Day - Ballot is considered "late"
- On 46th Day – The adjudicator is temporarily "suspended". The adjudicator’s company is expected to replace the adjudicator within 15 days with a backup adjudicator unless ballot is submitted by Day 60. If the ballot is received by the 60th day, the adjudicator is reinstated.
- On 61st Day - Adjudicator is permanently "expelled” for remainder of season. If company does not have a replacement adjudicator ready to replace the expelled adjudicator, then an upcoming show is removed from the system. If all of the company's shows are already completed for the current year, then the company is only eligible to enter one (1) show in each production category in the following season instead of two. Receipt of the missing ballot does not reinstate the expelled adjudicator.
- On 76th Day – The adjudicator is ineligible to adjudicate the following season as well.
Note: If the adjudicator is ALSO a liaison and gets expelled, the company will also have to replace the liaison and if a liaison gets expelled they cannot adjudicate or be the liaison in the following season.
FAILURE TO DELIVER A BALLOT
If a ballot is not received by the end of the year NHTA calendar year, the offending Adjudicator shall be suspended for the following year from being either a Primary or Backup Adjudicator.
